Most of us at Whiskey Throttle grew up in the off-road world riding dirt bikes. That's where our passion started, and in many ways, where the brand began. As the company grew, much of our focus shifted toward the SXS scene and events, but we always knew we wanted to get more involved in the dirt bike community and get back to our roots.

What better way to represent our brand than by building a team that lives what Whiskey Throttle stands for? No, we're not saying our team is a bunch of reckless "Whiskey Throttlers"(haha), but they are a group of riders who live for dirt, speed, adrenaline, and everything that comes with life on two wheels.
Our Two-Wheeled Team competes in motocross, hare scrambles, enduros, BMX, and local off-road events whenever possible. While dirt bikes make up most of the team, we also have a talented young BMX rider, which makes the team name even more fitting.
We don't just look for kids who are the fastest or winning every race. We look for riders who show heart, push their limits, support each other on and off the track, and most importantly, truly love the lifestyle while still having fun. Skill level matters, but passion and character matter more. We just want kids who share the love for two wheels and a little throttle therapy.
Some of our riders race competitively every season, while others ride for the thrill and the community that comes with the sport. Whether it's the dunes, single track, mountain trails, or the motocross track, it's all smiles when these kids throw a leg over their bikes.
A big part of our involvement in the two-wheeled community comes through the youth race series hosted by Edge Powersports and Jordan River OHV Park here in Utah. Think of it like little league baseball, but for dirt bikes. The series gives kids from Stacyc riders all the way up to 18-year-olds on 450cc bikes a place to learn, improve, and race in a supportive environment.
Almost every rider on our team competes in this series, and by attending these races, we naturally became more connected to the community. A few times throughout the year, we set up a booth to sell merch, support the riders, and host a holeshot challenge where kids can win swag bags for getting the fastest start out of the gate.
The Whiskey Throttle MX Team is made up of 6 boys and 2 girls ranging from 6 to 17. Riders apply each year to earn their spot, and while talent matters, character matters just as much.
Because in the end, it's about more than racing.
It's family. Freedom. Community.
And sending it full throttle.
See you at the track.
